Zone Camp revelations
These are just few of the incidents that impacted me.
1. Everyone has a part to play in the preparation.
“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance."
This Passage is really talking about God looking for the most unnoticable person around. I mean out of a hundred sheeps, how many can notice just one little sheep that is missing. The Shepherd must have known His sheeps very well, and possibly by name too. If God can notice the most unnoticable, what about your family members that are unsaved, your friends that are not saved. I mean if u can think of them, den they are truely not the most unnoticable person around.
2. The Parable of the Lost Coin
“Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’ Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
This shows the heart of God over the least in society. When the woman found the coin, she said to her neighbours, lets rejoice! In the Hebrew culture, rejoicing would mean a festival or a party, to celebrate. How much has the woman recovered? Just one coin. Can this one coin pay of the party that is being thrown? Certainly not. But the woman still rejoices over the least that is being found. Our friends is the same. They might seemed worthless to society. ( Btw i was worthless to society before being saved.) But this doesn't change the fact that God loves even those who are the least.

- Planned another home visitation in Pasir Ris.
Man!!!! I am tired. But the work of the Lord must go on.
That is what really impacted me during last week's prayer meeting when Pastor said that.
You can literally sense and feel the burden that Pastor has for the Church, For Asia and for Singapore.
If my leader is slogging his guts out there in the world, den what am I supposed to do. Slack around on the crouch and be a potato? Play some games that has no purpose in my life other than destressing (or even stressing me). Btw i do play games, Football manager is my fave. But the Lord has convicted me on playing it for such long hours.
I am really tired. But if we calculate like how pastor does, we only have so much time left to make an impact, to leave behind a legacy. What strike my heart so deeply is when Pastor says that he have only about 1500 weekend sermons with City Harvest Church, but he is going to make every single one of them count. Wow!!! A leader in the church once said, " Live your life everyday as though Jesus is returning tmr, but plan you days as if Jesus is not returning all your life." Woah!!! From now on, I am going to make every bible study, every discipleship and every visitation count. (So guys whom I give Bible Study and Discipleships, better be there k? Or else you are going to miss that count. LOL!!!)
Btw 4 days to water baptism. Woah!! can't wait man. LOL... Think about it, Jesus became so so close to the Holy Spirit after water baptism. Hehe, I can't wait for this experience of a lifetime.
Hallelujah!!!! Thank God for a fruitful week. Praise God....

to lose sight of the shore.
Imagine
Christopher Columbus, the man who discovered America,
was afraid to lose sight of the shore.
Where will America be like now? Will his name be known today?
Imagine
Guang Xiang to be in his shoes ( I know abit difficult larz, Jux try k)
With i am to look back at the shore all the time, how am I going to make history?
Imagine
Bedok North can't move on.
Bedok North was blessed to have great leaders like Kenneth and Xianbi
But, what bout the future?
What goes on from here?
Christianity is never to stand where we are.
We either move forward or backwards.
There is no stagnant cell group or revival.
There is only growing cell groups and revivals
or
backsliding cell groups and revivals.
We gotta move on from our past.
No doubt, E149 was glorious.
But the new cell group is going to get even more glorious.
Bedok North is moving from glory to glory.

Water Baptism
My mum used to reject water baptism at all costs. She would jux shut me up if the two words were to come out of my mouth. However, thank God for faith. I jux knew that i would go for this round of water baptism.
Truely, faith is the substance of things hoped for.
NLT puts it as Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.
Woah!! One thing that Kenneth taught me is this," Knowing is one thing, Experiencing is another. Many times as a believer, this verse heb 11:1, is so familiar. It is not an "uncommon" verse, yet how many times have we experienced it.
What happened was when my mum still shuts me off whenever water baptism is mentioned. I can already see a signed baptism form in my spirit. Praise God. Whenever the other helpers asked if i am getting water baptised this round, i would jux say yes!!, den add most prob behind jux to be sure. I somehow know that, i know that i know this would be the time.
Praise God. But now, i am having a headache. What will my baptism name be? David, Joshua, Mohammed, Guan Yin Mah, Sun Wu Kong. Haiz... Jokes aside. I am hung in the middle of David or Joshua. Hmm.. Joshua Tan, sounds not too bad. David Tan, Sure sounds like a genuis' name.
Hmm... Guess i will go with? David??

Eagles
There was this story about this majestic Eagle that is soaring high up in the high skies. An Eagle can fly the highest in the whole of the animal planet. Their eyes are one of the sharpest in the whole world and they are the only living creature that can look directly at the sun. So this Eagle had 5 eggs in the nest high up in the mountains on the canopy of the tallest tree. The eggs hatched eventually and the Eagle has to hunt to provide for the baby eaglets. So being an expert hunter, the eagle has never once failed to provide for the baby eagles.
But one day, there was a thief who climbed the mountains and reached the peak. He looked up to the tree and devised a plan. The thief then stolen all the 5 eaglets from the nest and sold it to a farmer. The farmer had many animals and poultry in his farm. He decided that since the eaglets still couldn’t hunt, their best way of surviving is to place them with the chickens. Then the hen will be able to protect and provide for the eaglets. Days passed, and days turned into weeks, weeks into years. The eaglets were now all grown up. All five of them had this sudden dream of soaring into the sky. But because they were raised as chickens by the hen. They have not learn how to fly. They can only gaze up into the skies.
