Gratitude

Gratitude Is The

Gift You Give To Those

Who

Reached Out And

Changed

Your Life.

“And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks.” Luke 17:15-19 (NKJV)

Openly acknowledging Jesus of Nazareth as the Lamb of God, the hoped-for Messiah, John the Baptist was grateful for the role God gave him, exceedingly thankful, even as his own ministry began to decrease, while Christ’s would exponentially increase! Jealousy would have no part within this divine connection that set the stage for God’s greatest Gift to all mankind.

Perhaps more than any other man in all of Scripture, David also understood gratitude. In Psalm 119, David penned, “I will thank You by living as I should.” You and I cannot repay God for what He does for us. There is nothing we can do to return all God bestows upon our lives except to be grateful. Gratitude, however, is different than repayment. We live for God out of gratitude for what He does for us. There is no greater way to express our reverence to God than to possess a heart of gratitude.

Our reverence toward God and His Word is not a form of repayment; it is the proof that we recognize we owe Him our very lives. Please carefully consider these three questions:
Is it too costly for you to be thankful?

What are the things for which you are thankful?
Like David, why not thank the Lord by living as you should?
Let me remind you of the words of the Apostle Paul, “And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind He will accept. When you think of what He has done for you, is this too much to ask?”

Fellowship

Wow!!! After working for a week at Giordano, was really really tired and worn out. Late nights and early mornings are really a norm now.

Hehe, btw i met up with Chuen Heng on monday and fellowshipped wit him and seyan at TM. Can u believe it? They actually sold KAYA ICE-KACHANG. Thats super disgusting. Then didn't know how or why, we actually saw Jasmine and Mei Juan. We ended up eating at the food court and afterwhich we went to Toys'R'Us and started playing there. Jasmines kept playing the hola hoops for dunno why. And she looks super funny while doing that. Mei Juan ended up also playing the hola hoops. Hahaha... Meanwhile, myself, Chuen Heng and Seyen were busy playing the latest sport that was created. The Cum-Cum game! Why is it called cum-cum game? Because its volleyball-cum-basketcall-cum-soccer-cum-takraw that is played with a super light ball.

shall blog till here. cos too tired after work. gotta go. pls tag man

God's best for me.

Hallelujah!!! Praise God for such an impactful weekend. Truely the people around u will be the best mirror in your life. Man... I really gotta thank God for people like Yong Xiu, Sheila, Jaslyn Chuen Heng, Jun Yong, Natalie, Jin Liang, Hui Shan and Paul in my life.

Iron sharpens iron, and when we are being put through the moulding, man, will it not hurt?
Even right now as i type this blog, still feel quite insecured in myself. Will I make the same mistake again? Pray not, For my God is a faithful God. Truely "Pride comes before a fall." The Bible also says "those who exalt themselves will be humbled and those who humble themselves will be exalted. Man! was too ya-ya for the past few weeks or months.

Pride comes before a fall. I know about that verse ever since I was in church for 2 months. I knew it for 13 months already. Yet, i totally fell into pride unknowingly. Gotta medidate upon the word. Jesus says dun be just a hearer of the word but a doer. Yup.. HEARER, not even LISENER. Haiz, truely pride is the first sin in history. Was so so so convicted by Pst Tan's preaching. "You either bring hell on earth or a foretaste of heaven on earth."

Its time for a renewed mindset. Change it around, change it around. My whole life needs to be rewritten down and planed for urgently. State priorities.

But I really really want to comment on the Bedok North people. You guys rock! God is just so good to me. I dun deserve such good people like you. You people are the best warriors a general could ever bring onto the battlefield.

Lastly, I really want to thank God for His goodness and mercy. Without Him, who am I? Just another holigan on the streets. Remember telling the Beok North people this, "All I need you to do is to love God." But i feel very strongly, that is for ME!!! Hahaha... God i love you. It will always be difficult to stand up again after fall. But i am going to stand up again. Its difficult, until tdy. I know its gonna take time. But God says
"My grace is sufficient for you."
Hallelujah!!!

Prophesy

Prohesy, prophesy. Prohesy, prophesy,Prophesy to the dry bone

I see the earth turning towards Heaven, I see broken dreams coming to past

I hear the sound of a celebration

As the Lame man walks, The angels talk

I'm carrying a message from my risen Lord.

Speak to the mountains and they will humble themselves,

Nothing is impossible

Stand on the promise He made,With a heart full of faith

Nothing is Impossible

Shine like a light in the dark and the cities will turn

Nothing is impossible

Now is the hour to rise, With His power at hand

nothing is impossible...

WE'RE LIVING IN REVIVAL…

Bedok North, can u see what i am seeing.
