And it really opened up a new dimension of thinking in my life.
Kenneth was the one sharing about this sermon before I listened to it personally.

Stupid people are known by their stupid actions

How true this is. Apart from the humor of the statement. It is otherwise true.
How a person is, we can determine it from the actions, the speech and the attitudes of a person.
Of course we are not called to judge others but we have to be discerning if the person we are having a close relationship with will bring us closer or further to our destiny.
Therefore, it is impt to pay attention to our actions and what we say, for it determines if we are a wise person or foolish. The Bible is very direct about the wise and the fools.

He who walks with the wise grows wise,
but a companion of fools suffers harm.
-Proverbs 13:20

I want to be someone whom God uses to bring others into their destiny. Wisdom is not knowing what to say, wisdom is knowing what to say at the right moment.

Dr Bernard also mentioned smth that is so powerful about our choices.

The Foolish Would React to Situations,
While the Wise will respond to it

The fools when faced with a situation would let their emotions do the thinking instead of thinking of what to do. The Wise would plan and strategies on how can he overcome the situation.
Before Adam sinned, he is very wise, considering how he defended and had dominion over all the earth. He would plan and categories all the animals of the field, plan how to protect himself and Eve from the beast of the fields. He learned how to dive and fly, so that he could name the oysters, scallops and also name the eagles and hawks.

After Adam sinned, the Bible says his mind was darkened. When God walked by and looked for Adam, he hid himself from God. He was afraid of God. He allowed his emotions to do the thinking instead. That is why so many people run away from their problems instead of facing them face-to-face.

The fear of God is the beginning of all Knowledge, the Bible says.
But God Himself, is the source of Wisdom and He is the wise King.
Ask God about what is the next step in life, Guarantee plus 'chop' it will not go wrong.

Recently God spoke alot to me on the chapter of Psalms 116
Here it goes:

Thanksgiving for Deliverance from Death

1 I love the LORD, because He has heard

Wow! This verse is in season during this period of my life. All I want is a simple heart, enjoying all that I do in my life. A simple heart and simple person is different. Simple-hearted people is what God loves.
All I wanna be is a bondservant of His.

Oh Ya, received this book 'Killer Angels' by Micheal Saara from my cousins.
Seems like a good book.
Dun be deceived by the name of the book like its some satanic book.
Its about the American Civil war and about a particular Battle, the Battle of Gettysburg.
Read the reviews and it seems that this book would touch more on the character's moral, military and relational decisions. The main characters are the Generals and Colonels of both sides. Cant wait to read it!

2007 has not been a good year for me personally.

Spiritual warfare-AFV soldier's life

Amen! I just came back from the first lesson of AFV-
Its just powerful powerful. It really drove conviction in the heart.We are all born to be soldiers of Christ.
An Army of God who wage war on the enemy.
The Bible says that God is a Man of war.
But even so, we do not wage war according to the flesh, but of the Spirit.
The modes of engagement are important, but what hits me more is when Darren taught about signing up for this army.
When we received Christ into our life, we effectively say that, "Lord, I am signing up for Your army. You are the Lord of this army." And like taking an oath to signify yourself renouncing the life of a civilian but undertaking the life of a soldier of Christ.
The Bible says us to put on the full amour of God.

God said, "I am a Man of War", "Vengeance is Mine".

He is the Commander of the Armies of God, The Host of angels in Battle Array.

The Bible calls us to fight the good fight of faith, To resist the devil and temptations. 

No weapon formed against me shall prosper. For when God is for me, who can be against me. Who can curse what God has blessed.

Sure! Words do hurt, especially when it comes from people whom you are willing to lay down your life for. People whom you love. Words that felt like thousands of blades piercing into the heart. When pride blinds the eyes, when we listen to the voice of the devil.

But one thing is certain, God will fight for me.

The Bible says, 'those who curse me shall be curse-D, those who bless me shall be bless-ED.

The past tense is important there.

From now on, its a disciplined life of a soldier. One that obeys the orders of his

 captain, sergeant and officers. But ultimately, one who listens and obey the Commander of the Army of God.

Values in Life

'Balance is the key of life."
Too much of everything is a bad thing.
There has to be a point of a balancing.
In church, Pastor says.. Too much of the word, you will dry up.
Too much of the spirit you will blow up.
With the word and Spirit, you will grow up..
Balance..

In life, studies, ministry and family, there must be a balance...
I have gotta learn the balance..
One thins I have learn in Christ is that when the Holy Spirit tells you smth, usually you will hear it again somehow.
During the helper's prayer meet last week, when Cliff prayed for me, God was saying,
"I am going to fine-tune you, fine-tune your life. Its going to be difficult at first but hold on to Me."

Wham!!! That very Friday, I felt as if my whole world collapsed... Man.. And on the phone with Yong Xiu, she mentioned this: "Guang Xiang, you have to fine-tune your life." Praise God!!! God will never give a word an leave you there wondering when that word is going to come to past. He will remind You over and over again.

It was difficult... But now, phew!!! Its over!!! The most difficult parts. But I know everything is in place now.. Thank God...

How very true. Along the way in our human nature, we picked up and learn many things of the flesh. We learn how to lie, how to cheat, how to steal. We learn many things which walks in the flesh. But the Bible says:

"For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit."

-Rom 8:3-4

Therefore in Christ, we have to unlearn all that we have learnt. But ppl will then question believers : "But if all we need to do to live a good life is to unlearn what we have learn then why do we need God?"

"I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh."

-Galatians 5:16

Its that simple. Just walk in the Spirit.

Appreciation

Its been a while since I had a 'proper' post.
As I spent my early hours in the presence of God, just sensed the Lord speaking ever so clearly and delicately in His still small voice.
"Xiang, what it is that you really want to hear?"
Then I just wept and wept, took up my guitar and begin to strum and sing. I dun even rmb what I sang, bt I rmb singing this part continuously
"All I wanna hear you say, is good and faithful, you have finished the race."

Man, its the things unseen that matters most

Its the fruits of the Spirit.
Love, peace, joy, goodness, kindness, patience, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control that matters most. =)

Received a word from God not too long ago. I remember it so clearly, during worship in Service where the presence of God and the atmosphere was so tangible and real. Then God impressed very deeply in my heart, "I am going to start a new work in your life if you will remain willing." Man!! When the greatest CEO of all time tells you that, It awesome!!!
It has not been easy weeks, totally not used to what I am doing. But it is really during hard times where the vision and Rhema word that will sustain us. And no matter how difficult it may be now. I know God is faithful.

"Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands. -Duet 7:9

Those who humble themselves shall be exalted, but those who exalts themselves shall be humbled. -prov.

Pride is really a scary thing man. The scariest thing about pride is that you don't know of its existence at all. Thats the worst part of pride. The 'I' factor. Not the 'J' factor.

As I was sitting down thinking through my future education and passion, I asked myself again, What is it that I really want? I would say, PHOTOGRAPHY!!!
Haha. Thats my number 1 passion. =) "Lord, I pray for a camera, in faith."

Truly photography keeps me sharp.
Once you miss a chance to shoot, you will never ever get a 2nd chance. Photography is that cruel, but when you pull off a fast trigger on the shutter, that satisfaction is incredible. I love taking portraits and cadid pictures. Because those are the essence of human life and behavior. Most of the times, I detest taking posed pictures. Haha, Even when we are taking posed pictures, I just love to take them whenever they did not notice me taking. Haha, Those are the best shots ever. =)

A picture tells a thousand words. A picture will also tell of the photographers thoughts and emotions at that time. Even his edited works can tell. Can't hide them. Haha. The greatest photographer is God Himself!

Haha, A good photographer has this ability to 'foresee' an event happening, visualised it in his mind, compose the image even before the event happened, and snap it in seconds. =)
Its just like God.. In Jeremiah, the Bible says that even before we are conceived in our mother's womb, God already foresee this event happening. Composing our future and plans to prosper and give us a hope. And breathe the breath of life into us during the physical conception. Incredible.

Hallelujah!

Praise the Lord! Last week was the beginning of a new chapter. A whole new adventure with the Holy Spirit again.

Looking at the average age of the cell group, Man! we are a youthful cell group. Haha. But as I was praying for the cell group.  This verse keeps probing in my heart

Hmm, isn't what that youths should be? Haha. Is King David over zealous when he daringly shouted across to the Philistine camp at 16 during the battle with Goliath. Daringly proclaimed the greatness of God. 

"Then the LORD will be zealous for His land, And pity His people.

Joel 2:18

I dun care what other people say. All I care is that if I am becoming more like Jesus. As long as I am pleasing to God, who cares. God is zealous for His people and His land. 

e456, my desire is that we will be a Cell group who lives for an audience of one. For God, and God alone to see. Xiu's desire is to see us as a cell group who are committed and on fire for God. Who says youths can't do great things for God. The greatest examples are the bible's heros. Jeremiah, King David, Ezekiel, Daniel. Modern day example? Look at your own Pastor! haha.

Alexander the Great

After watching Alexander, its so inspiring. Colin Farrel is a good actor! Haha.

Learnt so much from Alexander.

It is the eye of the tiger like Rocky that truly makes a good warrior.
It is for the glory and honour for a kingdom and his follow man that made him a great leader.

But its the pride that made him fall and lose the respect of his people.
Is the for the glory and honour for oneself that made him fall as a leader.

Dun wanna follow the steps of Alexander. Gaining the whole world but losses his own soul.
Sometimes the greatest enemy of success is initial success.
Dun wanna swell in the head. Or get puffed up. Wanna remain humble for the rest of my life.

This is the motto of the Singapore Armed Forces Commandos.
The elite of the elite.

"For Honour and Glory"

The commandos are the elite forces of the SAF.
While I was watching the online tv channel of the Singapore TV Drama serial "for honour and passion." just felt very impressed and excited about army life.
I rmb as a kid I would play with guns and pretend that I am a soldier. Haha, I would pretend that this Island state was overrun by the enemy and I would start planning strategies on where to plant my snipers or lay traps. When I was returning home from school, I would take cover and walk as if I am on a petrol squad.
I have plenty of toy guns at home. I would scrim and save and buy guns. Haha, I have M-16s, Ak-47s, Indian rifles and pistols. And I thank God for blessing me with natural fitness and accuracy in firing.
There was once in Sec 4, the entire level went for this excursion at the Singapore Discovery Centre. And they had this simulation firing place where we assumed that we are in the battlefield. Then there will be enemy soldiers that we have to shoot. We were only given 60 rounds for the game.
I scored a 43 in the game. Which places me at the highest ranking of my school. Haha, Praise the Lord. It means i had a 71.66% accuracy. And the thing is that I sprayed my bullets at the ending part because time was running out. So in fact, my accuracy should be higher.
For stamina level, I really thank God that He has given me natural fitness.
I dun really do cardio and stamina training in my entire life (although i only started recently.)
But in all the fitness tests that I did, I scored way better than my peers. And its really by the grace of God that I did it.

But the motto of the Commandos are really smth that is so powerful. "For Honour and Glory."

God then begin to move in my heart.
Gabriel said this before during zone youth helper's meeting.
The youth of the zone are our commandos.
The elite of the elites.

The greatest difference is that Singapore commandos and God's commandos are serving a different Master.
Honour and Glory be unto the Lord.
"Lord , we give You all the glory and the honour."
Isn't that what we pray?

We are all spiritual commandos.
"Commandos are the raid specialists in the army. They strike mostly under the cover of darkness and employ various means to get to their target undetected. They are thus adept at infiltrating enemy territory using airborne raids, helicopter assaults or sea landings. All Commandos learn the use of assault boats and other light vessels for stealthy infiltration into enemy territory. Commandos will usually operate at small unit level, to carry out raids on important targets." -from www.mindef.gov.sg

We are the raid specialist of the Kingdom. We strike mostly under the cover of prayer and employ various means to reach out to our target. We are thus adept at going into the marketplace using marketplace evangelism, caring system or by praying and fasting. All commandos learn the use of spiritual weapons and spiritual gifts for powerful impact into the devil's ground. We will usually operate in cell group levels to carry out the Presence to precious souls.

FOP

FOP was great!
Pastor Phil is really one of the greatest preachers in our generation.
Really had alot of reflections and revelations during these three days.

Day1: King David.
Today I was really reminded of the very first reason why I choose David as my baptism name and why did I picked up the guitar in the first place.
In the Bible, it says that David had a heart after His own heart. That was the verse that led me to desire and wanna be a David of this generation. He killed bears, lions and giants. He trusted in God so much, he dared to charge at the army of giants when he was just my age.
David also had a respect for God's anointing. When Saul was in a cave and begin to sleep. oblivious to King David who was already hiding in the cave even before Saul came in.
King David was encouraged by his peers around him to kill Saul. But he didn't want to do it because he do not want to touch God's anointed.
David also loved God with all his heart. He would play the guitar and praise Him and to worship Him. All the guitarist would know, we worship God with the guitar every night. But some nights are just special. Those nights were the ones that you will literally feel Jesus just right beside you. And the atmosphere and presence of God is so thick and overwhelming, you can litterally touch Jesus in that place. Oh, those nights are phenomenal. Its like having valentine day every few days with God. Everytime when we picked we pick up the guitar, we jst pray that it will be one of those nights. We can just play and strum and worship for hours and hours and hours. Just couldn't stop. There once once I worshiped till 4am while there is school at 6am the next day. However, I was totally recharged the second day. Exceptional! Pastor Phil also said this,"You have to accept the change of name from God. A change of name is a change of destiny." Praise God! Smile more!

2nd day: Delirous? and Pastor Phil esteeming Pastor Kong.
On sat, we were sitting directly behind the entire worship team and pastors at the south entrance. We got to sit super infront of the entire meeting. It was powerful man. The moment when I saw delirious on the stage and felt that they really play awesome music and so talented, God encouraged me while I am in the midst of the congregation. He said," They started on the same as you, playing in their cell groups and struggled before. Everything big started from smth small". Delirious is really one of my favorite Christian bands ard simply because after so many albums and tracks, they still love God and still produces music that promotes radical living for God. Isn't that in the flow of our church and cell group? In their song 'Here we come', there is a sentence that goes, "and we hear your call, every woman every man, ring the mission bell, storm the gates of hell." In another song 'take off my shoes' it shows the heart of delirious just wanting to stay in the presence of God. "Love of my life, I will live and die, Just for the moment for my King and I." Man! Delirious is also committed to winning the lost. That is the very reason why the band was formed in the 90's. They were still students and then Martin Smith felt a calling to brng music to people's heart and awaken their spirituality. So he went about on a search for people who felt the call too. And he first found Stu G, then Jon and the rest of the band.

Pastor Phil also esteemed Pastor Kong on sat. Wow! Truely a discipler would stand up for his disciple if anyone come against him accusingly. That is really the heart of every leader. I believe my leader would do the same. Learn from the past that if someone accuses us wrongfully, just shut up and let God or your leader do the talking. If we open our mouth to defend ourselves usually it is from our own reasoning and pride. It will make the situation worse. But of cos gotta be discerning larz. Court case definitely need to open our mouth to testify. But usually our leader is the one that would bring us out of that situation. learn to trust and believe in your leaders. =) they will never want anything bad to happen to you.
And Pastor Kong is so humble! When Pastor Phil praised him, he just bow his head and clapped. Really I have not seen such a humble man before. I love Pastor Kong! Haha! Pastor Phil is also so bold to just stand up for Pastor Kong even when he knows there are critics in the crowd and possibly in the pastor in the crowd who criticizes Pastor Kong as well. But Pst Phil couldn't care less. He just spoke the truth and he really displayed the boldness of the Holy Spirit. After that evening, I prayed in tongues loudly whenever we are praying in the indoor stadium because I know as long as God approved of it, who cares about what others think. Haha. Pst Phil also gave out so many Words of Knowledge. Turning the entire FOP into a charismatic style meeting. Haha, also by the cheers of the crowd whenever Pastor Kong or City Harvest Church was mentioned, you can tell how much we love our pastor and our church. It is a blessing to be in God's kingdom, but its a privilege to be in City Harvest Church and under Pst Kong's leadership. Haha.

Day three: Phil 2:3
On this day, I was worshiping when Delirious was playing praise. And then i just felt this promting from God to read phil 2:3. At first I just took a mental note of it and want to flip to it later. But the urge and prompting to read it at that very moment became stronger. So I took out my Bible and flipped to the verse. It is a familiar passage, but at that moment, I didn't know what the verse was.

"Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves."

Then came the song Majesty. And I tot of the verse again. If we think that we are so loving, think about God's love first. My narrowness of heart and prejudices was exposed immediately. After Delirious belted out "our God Reigns". Don Moen and his guys came on stage and just about when Martin Smith unslinged his guitar and proceeded to walk off the stage with his guys. Don Moen whispered smth into Martin's ear and Martin looked surprised. He continued to play our God Reigns. Don Moen then started to play his violin and based on Martin Smith's body language, it is visible of his enormous respect that he has for Don Moen. Then Don Moen tilted his head towards the microphone to urge Martin Smith on to sing the song. Which Martin Smith did. Den God spoke again. "Look at my servants up on stage. Didn't they esteem one another better than themselves." I begin to understand that Don Moen is part of the older generation and he knows that. He has done so much and achieved so much with God. But he recognizes that Delirious is the up and coming worship Da Ge Da's. But he didn't have a pride issue that says I should sing. I am the big brother here. Instead he ushered Delirious to the microphone. On the other hand, when Martin Smith and Delirious was walking down. He flowed with Don Moen and went back to play. And most of the time he stood behind Don Moen. I have noticed in Church that the back-up vocalists always stand behind the Worship leader and the worship leader would always move back when there is a change of worship leader or when Pastor came on stage. Its like giving the person leading the respect and honor. That is what I noticed with Martin Smith as well. He didn't go, "oh you old guys." He showed a great respect for the servants of God as well. Den Phil 2:3 was really displayed up on stage. =)

This was partly a night for musicians as well. Haha. Felt the anointing and refreshing of the spirit that night when Delirious encouraged the musicians in the church. Powerful!

Now, my loudest cry in my heart is for God never to leave me or forsake me. I can't do without Him. Life is meaninglesss without him.

Do I wanna go back to the past?
No way, its hell there. Heaven here.
Learnt to appreciate some things that I am able to do now and do it again.
I love it.
That is the passion!

Learn to be still as well.
God says be still and know I am God.

=) Still... Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.

Multiplication

Amen.. What an adventure over the past 7 months.
Frankly speaking, I love everyone in the cell group and to be honest, each and everyone of you mean so much to me. Especially the helpers and of cos Xiu and Angela.

The times we spend together on the battlefield, in the wilderness. It is scary and sometimes very discouraging, but still God came through for us. The very first day we met at Kenneth's place, to the meeting with Gabriel in Yong Xiu's room. These are things that I will never forget. When Gabriel asks us if we wanna give up or continue, the agreement and determination to hold on to the vision was visible and can be felt. When everyone of us said, we want to hold on, that was the start of a wild adventure with God.

Now, the vision is near to fulfillment. And we have to go our separate ways as two cell groups. But tgt with E149 and their EXXX, all together we have 4 cell groups that birthed from the vision given by Gabriel in the upper room then. Man.. I am blessed to be under such powerful leaders. Gabriel, Royston, Angela and Yong Xiu. And fought alongside great and powerful helpers. Ken, Jasmine, Xiao Yong. But I looking forward to the day when we fight alongside again. On two battlefronts to gain more land.

One cell group can fight only in one direction. Two cell groups, two directions. 4 cell groups, 4 directions. More directions, more land won for God. Really an encouragement from God that I have felt impressed in my heart.

Multiplication is the catalyst for growth in all areas.

Catalyst, noun.
a substance that increases the RATE of CHEMICAL REACTION without itself undergoing permanent chemical change.

figurative,
a person or event that precipitates an event. (precipitates: causes, send smth or someone into a particular state or condition)

Catalyst of Growth in:
1. quality.
all of us have to move up another level. To step into new responsibilities.
2. quantity.
We can be more focused on individual friends to integrate them.
3. capacity.
learn how to do more. learn how to handle more stuff.
and many others which applied in my own life.

But the word now is multiplication is the catalyst of growth.
I am blessed to say I have experienced two multiplications in my not-even-two years of my christian walk. We are living in revival man!!! No matter what the devil say about ourselves and what others say about us. What matters more still is what God says. I am living for Him today!!!

4 stages that a cell group can be in.

4. multiplication
We can be in stage 1 but it is up to our faith that leads us back into stage 4...
E431 has done it. Incredible, really glory to God and the honor be to Him.
But it is really not possible if not for Yong Xiu and Angela. And of cos to the members as well. They are really the heros of faith.

I will take multiplication anytime. =)
Be fruitful and multiply and subdue the earth.

Ytd was one of the best times i ever had. Called up Xianbi but his phone was engaged. Ended up he was trying to get me at the same time too. Haha. Den we had dinner tgt(frankly, u call that dinner, so unfulfilling.) But then we took the guitars up and started worshipping together.

There was no chords sheet in the room. Nor any rehearsal. Totally was from the flowing of the spirit. Praise God.

I remember we palyed in such a sequence.

Its a totally medley style of worship. Haha.. It was a mind-blowing experience. Praise the Lord...

The power of worship is that it creates an atmosphere.
The power of an atmosphere creates an attitude.
The power of attitude is that it gives us authority.
And the power of authority determines our altitude.

What kind of atmosphere we want to create.

Worship God, God becomes my atmosphere.
Which is the centre of my life?

Revival

I was reading an online magazine article on revival during lecture break and it is really a powerful article.

This article was talking about the majority of the American churches having a revival mindset but not experiencing revival. Proclaiming revival but instead churches there are stagnating and backsliding.

This is a
|John Knox prayed this prayer to God when he was in the hull of a french warship, taken prisoner. France and Scotland was in war then. And John Knox prayed this prayer. "God give me Scotland or I die!" He prayed desperately for 7 years!!! And then God moved. God only move through those who are desperate.

A passage in the article:
[A Chinese Christian recently visited the United States and toured churches here. At the end of the trip he was asked what he thought about American spirituality. He answered, "I am amazed at how much the church in America can accomplish without the Holy Spirit."
We have large buildings and many programs but still no move of God. We have more trained ministers and more Bible colleges than any other nation but no revival. We have seminars on revivals and huge campaigns to promote our meetings. But where is the revival?
We have spotless theology but no doxology. We have no song in our hearts. We have replaced true experience with hyperactivity. Our theologians sit in swivel chairs in ivory towers and hand out edicts to those down below.]

Man.. How much can we do without the Spirit of God? I am really pondering on this qns. All great man of God who depended on the Holy Spirit moved mightily and revivals broke forth.

Walking with God.

Amen, Hallelujah, Praise the Lord (Any resemblance to any person or incident IS INTENDED) haha.. Wow.. Today was a great day!!! (Everyday is, when we are walking with God.)

Today, I felt very impressed in my heart for the entire day about walking with God. I was listening to the song "At the Beginning" today (yes, Jasmine) and can't help but agreeing with the lyrics about our walk with God. Life is a road and I wanna keep moving.

Many times when we are on our way home, we often want to stay with our close friends for as long as we possibly can. To the extent that we are willing to send that person home and take a longer journey back home. However, when we are with friends that are not so close with us, sometimes we can't wait to get home! Or when we are too tired, we meet some friends that are not in our inner circle, we try to avoid them so that we can really have some rest (come on! dun act as if u didn't do it before. Hahaha) 

Really life is not about destination but the journey. But most of the time the journey is not about the journey itself but who is with you on the journey!!!... (Bulls eye!) And praise the Lord, we got the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords on this journey with us!!!

Man, I type the word "walk, God" and "Walk, Lord" into the keyword search in biblegateway.com and began reading the verse of Enoch. He has only a few verses to him, excluding those which talked about the family line. But man, he is an inspiration.

He lived for 365 years and out of that 365 years, he spent 300 years walking with God. What king of relationship is this man!!!.. It is just like the relationship of a close friend. God and Enoch just wanna dwell with one another as long as they could together. Until the point when God told Enoch,(Modern day singlish):"Hey Enoch, steady larz. Come my house ton. I want to stay with you as long as I can leiz." I wanna walk with God too. And not just brush across or in front or behind one another. But I wanna rub shoulders with Him, to be in His inner circle. That is where I wanna be. As close, as long as I could with Him. I wanna please Him like how Enoch did. Hebrews 11:5 said that before Enoch was taken away to be with God, he was commended as one who pleased God. 

God has said and promised in Leviticus 26:12, "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people." God said "will", He didn't say 'might',

'maybe', 'could-be', 'see first'. He said: "WILL" 

"If God promised it 

and I believe it,

that settles it."

The Bible also says in Micah 6:8

"He has showed you, O man, what is good

And what does the LORD require of you?

To act justly and to love mercy

and to WALK HUMBLY with your God."

What is good? Walking with Jesus everyday of course.

Every morning now, I would wake up and tell God: "its time for another adventure."

Authentic Spirituality

Wow!!! Today's svc is powerful man.. Hahaha...

I really thank God that I am in the flow of the church. 

A life of fasting and prayer!!!

Thats a vision given by God for a year during my birthday and the week before that.

I really thank God for confirming the vision.

=) I read something that the famous evangelist John Calvin once said,"God may not always be there when we ask Him to be, but God will always be on time." 

How very true. God wants us to wait for Him. Because only people who are willing to wait are serious with Him. Like what Pastor preached today,"God hides in the hiding place for us to find Him." Because only those who are willing to seek Him are serious with Him.

Wait and Seek the Lord.

This is what I told one of my classmates who didn't allow me to go off at first early for svc. She told me that its JUST one svc that u will miss, I also skipping my church. Then I said smth deep from my heart, and I felt the presence and approval of God," My God is more important to me than life itself." Man... Drove conviction not only in her, but in myself too. Didn't expect myself to have such a boldness. I shocked myself too. Hahaha.. But I really thank God that I said that. And production miraculously completed 3hrs ahead of schedule. Man, must be and must be God... hahaha... I only heard of production behind of schedule before but not ahead. And its ahead by 3Hrs!!! I thought I would reach svc late and in fact I had time to send one of the friends, who I am reaching out to, to Toa Payoh Mrt station and grab a Ramly burger at foyer three and also be early for svc. Praise God... Hallelujah!!!

Blessed Day

Wow~~~ Today is phenomenal!!!

Went to school, did writtcomm discussion, went to sentosa, den to tampines and played for SinDa and Felicia.

Sentosa shall blog another time, but lets really talk about the cell group meeting.

Actually the message preached was the same one preached by Hui Jun last week, but nevertheless, God's Word is always a double-edged sword to our soul. God will always protect. Our Vision, finances, assets, dreams, spiritual life, studies, ministry may be stolen by the devil, but God WILL always protect them and of course our very lives also.

During the practice session with Sinda and Felicia was powerful. Can sense a thick atmosphere of worship and His presence. And Sinda just laid hands and prayed for me for the anointing. =) Thanks Man!!! haha...But during cell group, got a little intimidated by the working adults around. But thank God for His grace. The praise and worship started not so well, but it picked up. But there are alot of points that Felicia and Sinda pointed out that can be improved.

After the whole cell group, almost everyone was in tears during ministry time and Sinda prayed a powerful and mighty prayer.  Den came the powerful part, after everyone has left Felicia's house because I have not kept my guitar and my barang-barang aft the whole day in school. So Felicia asked me causually how am I going back, and I told her my mum will be picking me up at 11pm(It was 10.30 den, we had a 2-half-hours CGM).To my surprise, Felicia said," Guang Xiang, why not you take out your guitar and we worship together again. Lets try to flow with the Holy Spirit." Hahaha... Power larz... Worshiping tgt alone with a cell group Leader is such a honor. And then she laid her hands on me and prayed for me again. powerful day... All thanks to Sinda and Felicia. Not to mention, The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Praise the Lord!! my eyes re drooping liao.. good nite

I will never forget it is them that supported the visions of dreams of one another. Given two choices, to celebrate a presidential style birthday with hundreds of guest. Be it super glamorous. Or, to celebrate with these people, just having KFC or even takeaways. I would rather celebrate with these 7 people. No one knows how much each and everyone of them sacrificed for God. How much they went through. How much they had given their lives, their time, their all to God. Yet in all ways, they are grateful, obedient to God all throughout. They remained teachable, humble and depended totally on God. I am blessed to have them in my life.

Had a great talk with Angela online just now... Man... She shared and I really learnt so much.

My confidence is not in myself, my wisdom and my knowledge. I want to have confidence in the Lord and Him only.. I dun really need much encouragement from people(although its still impt), all I need to hear is a 'well done' from a whisper in my ear.

Also heard smth from Pastor Ulf's sermon... Its powerful... 

Man, when i live in sin, its an indication that I live pre-dominantly for myself.

But when I live righteously, it is because I live pre-dominantly for God...

Pre-dominant means I may still live a little for the other.. Just that it is not the majority...

I want to live for God.. Pre-dominantly...

I have a house full of treasure given by God, that is the promise of God, but i need the key. I need more faith.. God, help my disbelief..

A silent guitar

This super cool and good larz.. Just use normal earphones and plug into the socket and I can practise thru the night and no one would be disturb nor complain. And it can also be plugged into an amp for others to hear. It is light as well and it is collapsible. Easy for transporting and traveling. Price actually also quite justified. $250... but the only downside is that no matter what, still can't play it for cell group. And it is not a need but a luxury. But still I dun mind owning one.. So all u guys all there can hear me??? Haha. Yes, I'm talking to you. LOL
