Zone Camp revelations

Truely the zone camp has given me many many revelations. And they were all from that particular day. Even as I look back and think about the zone camp, i am still getting revelations out of the events that happened.

These are just few of the incidents that impacted me.

1. Everyone has a part to play in the preparation.

"The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ."
-1 Corinthians 12:12
In the preparation of the Skid, many of us came up with ideas and ways to improve the skid. As a media student, i was tempted to take control of everthing that they were planning and be the Director or should I say "Dictator" of the Skid. However, when one particular member took over the control and begain to give instructions, oblivious to what we have already planned, there was this grieve in my heart and this verse was impressed in my heart.
Another verse that burned deeply within me is this:
"The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, But he who heeds counsel is wise."
-Proverbs 12:15
Thank God for the reminder that we should never think too highly of ourselves. I could have allowed pride to take over and challenged for the leadership. No doubt that I have been trained in scripting and directography ( Thanks to Mr Beh). But I have learnt a lesson of dictating idea generation from the dommed drama of "The Wave".
"For Humility is not thinking less about yourself, but thinking of yourself less"
-Pastor Phil Pringle
2. The type of people whom God doesn't give up in.
At YMCA, Gabriel shared a message on Luke 15. About the three parables in the Powerful Chapter( in fact the whole Bible is powerful).
The three parables are.
1. The Parable of the Lost Sheep.
2. The Parable of the Lost Coin.
3. The Prarble of the Lost Son.
The similarities of the three stories are just that simple, all of them are lost.
Its really talking about the celebration of Heaven when one soul on earth enters into the Kingdom of God.
But yet, thank God, He showed me a different aspect of the three Items or persons that were lost.
1. The Parable of the Lost Sheep

“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance."

This Passage is really talking about God looking for the most unnoticable person around. I mean out of a hundred sheeps, how many can notice just one little sheep that is missing. The Shepherd must have known His sheeps very well, and possibly by name too. If God can notice the most unnoticable, what about your family members that are unsaved, your friends that are not saved. I mean if u can think of them, den they are truely not the most unnoticable person around.

2. The Parable of the Lost Coin

“Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’ Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

This shows the heart of God over the least in society. When the woman found the coin, she said to her neighbours, lets rejoice! In the Hebrew culture, rejoicing would mean a festival or a party, to celebrate. How much has the woman recovered? Just one coin. Can this one coin pay of the party that is being thrown? Certainly not. But the woman still rejoices over the least that is being found. Our friends is the same. They might seemed worthless to society. ( Btw i was worthless to society before being saved.) But this doesn't change the fact that God loves even those who are the least.

To be conti......
