Kingdom of Comfort

Kingdom of Comfort
By Delirious?
From the album: Kingdom of Comfort(2008)

Save me save me
From the kingdom of comfort where I am king
From my unhealthy lust of material things

I built myself a happy home
In my palace on my own
my castle falling in the sand
Pull me out, please grab my hand
I just forgot where I came from

Save me save me
From the kingdom of comfort where I am king
From my unhealthy lust of material things

I rob myself of innocence
With the poison of indifference
I buy my stuff at any cost
A couple of clicks and I pay the price
coz what I gain is someone else's loss

Save me save me
From the kingdom of comfort where I am king
From my unhealthy lust of material things

Save me save me
From the kingdom of comfort where I am king
To this kingdom of heaven where you are king

This will be the last album by Delirious as they are going to officially disband in 2009 after finishing all of their tours. All of Delirious' band members have their own family and they want to focus on their family lives. This band has never failed to inspire thousands, if not millions, of Christians into radical living with their lyrics and music. Cutting edge Brit rock music. Constantly finding their own sound. Who can forget the awesome vocal power of Martin Smith crying out, "Raiiiiinnnnnnn Down...", or the anointing silence that follows when he carried a candle and sang, "there is a light, in the darkness.. His name is Jesus.."
Or who can forget the anointed moments when Stu G played the riffs of Rain Down and "Here We Come"
Or when he plays his Gibson Les Paul in front of David Yem in service and David Yem fell under the power of God.
Delirious, they will be missed! =D

Btw, I really wanna thank God for the chance to play a Taylor at their shop and Peace Centre.
Taylors are like the best acoustic guitars u can get anywhere. The staff over there are super friendly and their made u feel welcomed at their place. The staff there says "Feel free to try any guitar we have here. Just grab the guitar and the seat." Man! They said ANY guitar u want.

I tried this baby here. The Taylor 110ce. One of the lower end guitars at Taylor. Obviously, i was looking for the cheapest guitar there. Hahaha! But this baby here cost a whopping $1350! And the most expensive one cost $12k+ over there.

This leads me to think about my not-so-good experience at other guitar shops. They have great sercurity there. Once you stepped into the shop, you will feel hundreds of eyes staring at you. Sometimes you will even suspect that snipers are in the shop. And that experience is the worse at two shops. A certian shop, SL, at Bras Brasah and some Ya-Mama shops. And some of their guitars are not even as expensive as taylors. Those who plays guitars will know of the experience and it is quite a shame sometimes. That the shops judge teens and students. Who knows, maybe I am the son of, not Lee Kwan ME, but Lee Kwan Yew

I want a Taylor!!!
